Solar Panel Cleaning

Solar Panel Cleaning

If you’re using solar panels to help provide power to your home, or to help offset energy costs, you know how important it is to keep them clean so that they can operate at peak efficiency.

It can be particularly difficult to get to solar panels if they’re on your roof, and you want to spend as little time up there as possible because you’re not just risking damaging your roof or solar panels, but you’re risking injury as well.

As with cleaning windows, when washing solar panels, care must be taken not to use abrasives or harsh chemicals to get them clean, or you could end up with streaks or hazy areas that aren’t going to allow as much sun to reach the cells. When possible, a pure water system can be used to ensure anything sticking to your solar panels can be gently and safely lifted from them, leaving you at peak operating efficiency!
